11 = the number of inches of snow recorded at DFW Thursday. 0 = the number of plows in the DFW area. I always rave about how much I love snow. I'm realizing that I prefer snow in places where they're equipped to handle it! We made the most of it, though!

I love the snow on Otis's back. Here they are next to the mini snowman that I hastily constructed. I was so happy for the Texan kids to actually be able to build respectable snowmen as opposed to the 5 inch tall ones we've seen in other years.

So, Christmas was awhile ago...

But I'm just now getting around to posting from our trip to Michigan. We had so much fun!

Josh in the Santa sweatshirt Grandma made him waiting for Christmas breakfast. And does anyone else notice that he looks exactly like his Daddy in this picture? People tell us that all the time and this is the first time I've seen it. I still call the dimples mine.

Thanksgiving Weekend

We spent the weekend with Matt's family. Here are a few highlights.

It was fantastic to have the five grandkids from Matt's side all together. Luke holding David, Josh, Abby Kate holding Avery. Too much cuteness!

Josh has now taken to actually riding his rocket around rather than pushing it close to other things to aid in his climbing efforts.
